About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and group practice owner with a focus on developing clinicians, strengthening clinical systems, and delivering ethical, high-quality care. In my clinical work and leadership, I operate at the intersection of practice, supervision, and organizational development.
I lead a growing group counseling practice in the Richmond, Virginia area, where I oversee clinical services, supervise residents and interns, and build systems that support both client outcomes and clinician sustainability. Alongside my clinical and leadership roles, I am a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision.
My research focuses on virtual supervision, ethical decision-making, and the ways technology shapes supervisory perception, judgment, and gatekeeping. I am particularly interested in how digital environments alter the conditions under which supervisors evaluate clinical competence and respond to concerns in supervisee development.
My work aims to bridge the gap between research and practice by developing frameworks that are both conceptually grounded and directly applicable to real-world supervision and training contexts.
I am especially interested in connecting with counselor educators, supervisors, and clinicians who are navigating the complexities of training, ethics, and leadership in increasingly digital and evolving practice environments.
