About me
Dee Loving‑Tackitt is a follower of Christ, a devoted wife of forty‑four years, mother of three (along with two daughters-in-law and one son‑in‑law), and grandmother of five grandsons. She and her husband, Bernie, serve the Lord together, ministering from their front door and beyond.
Dee is the founding and Lead Pastor of The House of Prayer, a Spirit‑led ministry centered on grace, intercession, outreach, and creative discipleship. Her work includes international prayer initiatives, two national podcasts (Grandma Went to Seminary and From the Well to the World), street preaching, ministry in retirement communities, creative Bible studies, Bible journaling, and creative writing classes for women. She is also the author of a daily Christian blog (The Prayer Path Blog).
A lifelong worshiper through music, Dee sings with Sweet Adelines, Hub City Harmony, and the Singing Women of Texas, West Chapter.
She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies at Liberty University, where she also earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry. Dee holds a Bachelor of Music Education from West Texas A&M University.
